@marklanerocks Yeah, I'll just have to keep patching the servers for now, no big deal really
I also found out that It's not Airtime that needs the patch but Ubuntu 14.04, the fault is actually in there
I have now finished moving Bruce to the new server and deleted the old one.
@marklanerocks Yeah that's the idea, as soon as we don't need them
I have got the install for new servers down to a few minutes now, very easy. I also got the new software version running properly finally
I want to move Pete over as well as we are not making any profit on these two servers.
Oh cool that's great. I am in the process of moving Bruce to a new DO server with an updated Airtime version.
Bruce is looking into licensing. For a talk show he wouldn't need it but to play music he does, he has stopped broadcasting until he has it
@marklanerocks It's fine though, with the patch it works perfectly, 12.04 wouldn't need the patch, that's the only difference that I know of
@marklanerocks Kind of...It was meant for Ubuntu 12.04 though not 14.04 lol. I only found that out yesterday
@marklanerocks I hope so, we need more customers lol, I'm trying as much as I can to get more, CRToronto & Bruce are also helping
@marklanerocks Yeah. I now find out that Airtime 2.5.1 isn't supposed to run on Ubuntu 14.04 but everything is fine.
@marklanerocks I had to replace the audio file scanner with a later version. All done now
@marklanerocks Yeah, when some files were uploaded they had the wrong times on them causing them to cut short etc
